finally a blog update! Can't believe it's taken me this long... As I type this, dad and Jack are in the guest room making a fort on the bed. Jack keeps saying, "Mom, come on the party bed!" I better hurry. :)

here is a video of jack using scissors for the first time. he was a little sick that day, so we did a lot of cozy crafts.

rayguns with dad

So Jesus brought home a couple ray guns for Jack.. it took a while, but now he LOVES to play with dad. He even has a raygun stance. I ask him to do it all the time, even if he doesn't have his toy. Dad also brought him a full set of cowboy gear, handcuffs and all. What a good dad. :)

Jack just recently started counting to 10 on his own. Every time I tried to get it on video he'd get really shy and only go to three. I think he finally realized that numbers are actually really cool and it's something to be proud of :) Now whenever he sees the camera he starts counting and wants to see himself afterward. Anyway, I don't want to be that dumb braggy mom, but I can't believe my not-yet-two-year-old not only knows all 26 letters of the alphabet but can also count to ten. Pretty awesome.

Oh, also, I'm pretty sure he says cupcake after he finishes. Maybe I need to stop bribing him with treats?...
